How To Change from Equal-i-zer 14K to 12K System
Question:
Hello! My dealer set me up with 14,000 lb spring bars on my trailer, which is overkill. Can I switch to 1,200 lb. bars if I swap to the 12,000 lb hitch head as well?

In order to convert the Equal-i-zer Weight Distribution System part # EQ37140ET which has a 14,000 lb capacity to the Equal-i-zer Weight Distribution System part # EQ37120ET which has a 12,000 lb capacity you only need the Replacement Head for Equal-i-zer Weight Distribution Systems part # EQ90-02-1200. The spring bars are actually the same between the 12,000 lb and 14,000 lb systems.
