Can RV with 6-Way Actuate Brakes of Tow Dolly with 7-Way
Question:
rv has 6 pole plug new tow dollie with elec. brakes has 7 blade plug. Rv is prewired for brake controler. Will an adapter work? Will brakes work on tow dollie?

A 7-way to 6-way adapter like the part # 337TC1067P does allow the brake output circuit to pass through so if you had a brake controller installed in your RV it would function through the adapter and actuate the dolly brakes. I don't know what RV you have so I don't have an install harness I can recommend for you but I can recommend the Curt Echo part # C51180 which basically just plugs into an active 7-way and once synced to a smart phone is ready to tow.
