Best Offset Gooseneck Coupler for my 2018 Chevrolet Silverado 1500

Question:

Thanks for the response regarding payload on my 2018 Silverado. Being that it is a short bed truck I think I need an extended gooseneck coupler so I don’t put out the back window. Do you have a recommendation for that?

Yes with the short bed model you definitely want to get as much space as possible. I have two great options for you the first is the B&W Extend-A-Goose Gooseneck Coupler - 2-5/16" Ball part # BWTEXA4200 this has a 10" offset and is a very traditional type of coupler. The second is the Gen-Y Pegasus Shock Absorbing Gooseneck Coupler part # 325-GH-7007 that has an 11" offset. The advantage to the Gen-Y is that it uses a torsion flex head and dramatically increases the ride quality in your truck and also in the trailer which is great for the horses. The shock absorption happens right inside the head and never requires maintenance. These are linked below for you.
