Does Malone SeaWing Kayak Carrier and Load Assist Fit 2019 Nissan Pathfinder

Question:

Will this fit on my 2019 Nissan Pathfinder with Nissan roof rack that came with the Pathfinder? Also what is the best way to carry the kayak up or face down. Thank you

The Malone SeaWing Kayak Carrier and Load Assist # MPG113MD you referenced is designed to fit round, square, aero, elliptical, and most factory crossbars. So if your 2019 Nissan Pathfinder has the factory roof rack and the bars are at least 24" apart it should work.

However, if your Pathfinder only has the rails that run front to back you will need cross bars so the SeaWing can attach. I recommend the Malone AirFlow2 Roof Rack # MPG217. It's very sturdy rack that's extremely easy to install. The bars are 65" long, but they also come in a 58" long version # MPG216.

The best way to carry a kayak is going to be on a carrier and and however the kayak is most secure. It depends on the carrier style, and the kayak style. Usually if the kayak is going to be sitting in cradles then it should be hull down (normal position with seat up) because the cradles are shaped to hold the hull.
