Does The Curt A20 C16540-16024 For 2020 Chevy Silverado Work With 5th Airborne Pin Box
Question:
Can you mount the A16 hitch to these legs? It looks like the tabs can be unscrewed from the two middle holes and screwed into the outer holes to allow the A16 to be mounted using the inside holes? Is that correct? How come this particular hitch is not compatible with rotating pin boxes like the 5th airborne? Other Curt A20 combos for other trucks are compatible, what makes this one different? The Curt OEM 5th Wheel Hitch Legs for Chevy/GMC Towing Prep Package part # C16024 is designed to replace the legs of the Curt A20 # C16540, Curt A25 # C16580 and Curt A30 hitches to adapt the hitch to the 2020 and newer Chevy/GMC trucks with factory-installed, underbed towing prep package. The legs will not fit the A16 hitch head or center part. Instead you need # CU53FR for for the A16 in your truck.
