Best Rear Suspension Upgrade for 2015 Ford F-250 4x4 With In-Bed Camper Besides Air Bags.

Question:

Hi, I have a 2015 Ford F-250 4x4 with a slide in camper 2500lbs.. Im looking at the Sumo SS96MR and the Timbren FFTR350F. I like how the Sumo mounts to the outside of the frame and to the top of the springs. I like the Timbren because it doesnt contact the axle/bump stop bracket until the truck is loaded. My question - What is the difference between the 2 different makes and if I was your Mom, which one would you suggest. Thanks

I recommend using the SumoSprings Rebel Custom Helper Springs # SS96MR hands down! These are my favorite suspension upgrade that have zero maintenance involved like the air bags require. These are designed to increase in stiffness as they are compressed so as far as the unloaded ride quality you will only see an improvement there along with a slight decrease in body roll when cornering.

The Timbren's like Rear Suspension Enhancement System part # TFRTT350F are also hassle free but when they do engage when unloaded you can definitely feel them. I'm not saying they're bad because they do have their place like in work trucks that have utility box beds on them that are loaded 100% of the time because you never feel that engagement they always stay in contact.

I have installed and tested well over 40 of these two systems and I can say without a doubt you will love the Sumos # SS96MR! Happy Camping!
