Which Westin Hardware Install Kit Fits 2004 Chevy 1500 Suburban

Question:

Jameson said to use part #40-180 or 40-185 bit both of those are for a 2006. I need brackets for a 2004. I’m not exactly sure what year was the switch but would like a little clarification on how these will work. Can I send them back if they don’t work correctly?

If that grille guard was a Westin the correct install hardware you'd need to install it on a 2004 Chevy Suburban would be the part # 40-018PK since that's what it came off of.

Otherwise you could use the mounting kit and local fabricator I am sure to come up with a way to install it.

The bracket kit I mentioned does fit a 2004 Chevy Suburban 1500. The confusion I believe is that the grille guard would have had to have been made after 2006. In the title its says "manufactured after 2006" but that's not referring to the vehicle.
