Do 12 Volts go Through Curt Echo Brake Controller & Compatibility w/ Electric/Hydraulic Disc Brakes
Question:
I was wondering if the 12 volt power feed from my tow vehicle still passes through the Echo controller to be able to charge my batteries on my travel trailer. I know it uses the 12 volt feed to power the controller, just wanted to make sure it still has a pass through function as well. Also I plan on doing the disc brake conversion on both axles and was making sure the Echo controller will still work when the disc brake conversion is done. twin 3500# axles. Thank you.

Those are good questions and the answer to yes is both. Twelve volts will still go through the Curt Echo Mobile Brake Controller # C51180 so the batteries on your travel trailer are not going to be affected.
Additionally, the Echo brake controller is compatible with electric-over-hydraulic disc brakes, which is what I assume you were referencing when you mentioned converting to disc brakes. This is a very easy to use, very convenient brake controller that is going to make your towing experience that much simpler.
I have added a link to a video review as well as the instruction manual for you to check out of the Curt Echo Wireless Trailer Brake Controller # C51180.
