Can I use a Tow Dolly on my 2019 Infiniti QX50 Front Wheel Drive?
Question:
I want to tow a Infiniti QX50 FWD behind my RV using a tow dolly. The manual seems to indicate that it should be fine but does not say it definitively. I had a dealership sales person adamantly insist that it could not be towed that way but he had no proof or documentation as to why other than a prior customer having towing issues. Of course we have no idea as to the circumstances of that other customer. I got on a chat session with the manufacturer recently and the person only referenced the manual and came to the same conclusion that I did which that it should be okay as long as the front wheels are off of the ground for the FWD model but again, there is nothing in the manual that definitively says it is okay. I was hoping that maybe you guys know? I am also considering going to a U-Haul dealer and seeing what information they have as they rent dollies/trailers and they might have guidance by vehicle.

Great News! Your 2019 Infinity QX50 FWD can be towed on a dolly. I was able to confirm this in the owner's manual using the recreational towing and regular towing sections to put it all together. This information is only for the Front Wheel Drive model and does not pertain to the All Wheel Drives.
Your QX50 has a curb weight of just under 4000 lbs. so I recommend using the Demco Kar Kaddy X Tow Dolly with Disc Brakes - Tilt Bed Frame - 4,800 lbs part # DM9713093, or the Demco Kar Kaddy SS Tow Dolly with Disc Brakes - Foldable - 4,800 lbs part # DM9713045 if you would like to have a more compact fold able option. I have included videos on these below for you to check out.

I have been searching through the manuals and can't find confirmation I can use a tow dolly with my 2020 Infinity QX60 front wheel drive. I am hoping it's the same result as the Infinity above. Can you provide any clarity on that?
