Question:

I cant get the rigt asnwer from any of your staff so far ! I need to know the size of the 4 nuts that you remove to install the plate at the base of the springs this nut is way bigger than 13/16 as you told me, its over 1 inch , on your video you do not specify the size but you mention it will be hard to remove , its a very important part of that installation . So i need to know what socket i need to do that job. Thank you part number: RM-1139-149 Anti sway bar for 22,000 lbs F53

You are right, removing the u bolt nuts is a very important step to the install the Roadmaster Rear Anti-Sway Bar # RM-1139-149. The size of the U bolts will determine what size the nuts holding them in place are. If they are 3/4" in diameter U bolts then you need a 1 1/8" socket to remove them. If the U bolts are 7/8" in diameter then you would use a 1 5/16" socket, or a 33mm would work as well.

They are very tight and can be difficult to remove so I recommend that you spray them down with some kind of penetrating oil and letting them soak, then use a large breaker bar or impact wrench to take them off.

I attached a video of when I installed # RM-1139-149 on a similar F53 chassis motor home for you to check out. The install process and tools you're going to use are going to be the same for your F53.
