Best Folding Kayak Carrier for Roof Rack With Small Amount of Clearance From Roof

We were supposed to get the Honda OEM Roof Rack - but the dealer accidentally installed the more expensive combination of the OEM Roof Rails/Cross-bars. The clearance underneath the OEM rails/cross-bars is really slim. Which Kayak rack for two, one-person kayaks will fit our new 2020 CR-V ? Id like it to be fold-able, to boot. We have the perfect folding kayak carrier for your 2020 Honda CR-V with crossbars that have a small amount of clearance from your roof, the Yakima JayLow Kayak Carrier # Y04073.

The reason the JayLow is the best is because it actually clamps to the side of your roof rack's crossbars so the fact you have clearance issues won't come into play with this particular carrier. I have added a photo which shows you how these clamp.

The JayLow can carry one kayak in its J-style or two kayaks if you are using it in the post-style. It comes with enough tie-downs for one kayak so if you plan on using it for both of your kayaks you will need to add the Yakima Bow/Stern Straps # Y04031.
