Trailer Hitch and Bike Rack Recommendation for a 2007 Hyundai Santa Fe

Question:

I am interested in purchasing this bike rack but I have a 2007 Hyundai Sante Fe with a small spoiler at the top of the rear door. I am concerned that the wires holding the bike rack on to the car will put pressure in the spoiler and cause damage. Can you advise if this produce is suitable for the Hyundai Sante Fe with the rear spoiler at the top of the rear door, or is there a product which would be more suitable for a vehicle with a spoiler?

For a trunk mount bike rack that will not interfere with or put stress on the spoiler on your 2007 Hyundai Santa Fe you can use the Hollywood Racks Over-the-Top rack, # HRF2 for 2 bikes or # HRF2-3 for 3 bikes.

These racks have an additional upper arm piece that moves the top straps up and over that spoiler so no weight is put on it (since the spoiler is not meant to support weight). I have included a link to a video that shows how it works.
