Does Curt Trailer Hitch Mounted Spare Tire Carrier Have a Weight Capacity

According to Curt, the Curt Trailer Hitch Mounted Spare Tire Carrier # c31006 does not have a specific weight capacity.

The reason is, this is designed to carry any size spare tire, and so its capacity is essentially whatever the tongue weight capacity of your trailer hitch is.

We want to move our fifth wheel spare to back 2” receiver and use our spare tire clamp on bike rack. Will curt spare tire carrier handle the weight of two bikes? Is angle to dramatic to do this?

I don't recommend mounting a rack and two bikes to the Curt Spare Tire Carrier, as this will likely be more weight than it can safely handle. Like you mentioned, its tilt design could also cause issues during travel. If you really want to utilize the 2" receiver for the spare, then your best option is something like the Roadmaster # RM-195125. This will support the spare while also providing a separate 2" receiver for use with a standard hitch-mount bike rack.
