The HitchMate TireStep Adjustable Step for SUVs # HE4040 is wide enough that it would not hit the wheels of your 20 inch wheel setup. The setup is 22 inches wide and I attached a picture of it being used on a 20 inch wheel/tire size to show you that it would fit and work well.
