Curt vs. Draw-Tite Front-Mount Trailer Hitch Receiver for 2020 Ram 1500

Question:

Which of the front mounted hitches do you recommend for my 2020 Ram 1500? I am having a hard time figuring out between curt and draw-tite.

The front-mount trailer hitch receiver I recommend for your 2020 Ram 1500 is the Curt Front Mount Trailer Hitch Receiver # C87FR because it is a much easier installation due to the fact there are fewer obstacles during the installation compared to the Draw-Tite Front Mount Trailer Hitch Receiver # 65081. The Curt requires you to remove and trim fascia but is otherwise just a bolt-on hitch. The Draw-Tite, on the other hand, requires that plus removal of the truck's splitter and air dam supports plus additional trimming of those supports.

Additionally, the Draw-Tite will not fit a 2020 Ram 1500 if the truck has tow hooks, but the Curt will (though the tow hooks will need to be removed). The only thing to keep in mind is that the Curt front mount hitch does not fit if you have a Rebel model of Ram 1500.
