Does the Vision X Vortex Headlight Conversion Kit Require an Anti-Flicker Harness
Question:
I havent seen any mention of the flickering problem that is connected to the adaptation from OEM lights to LED on pre 2019 jeeps. I have a 2016 Wrangler Unlimited Sport S and have read of canbus problems

I can appreciate where you're coming from with this question since I experienced this issue when installing similar LED headlights in my JKU, which was remedied by installing an anti-flicker harness in-line. I reached out to Vision X and they informed me that the Vortex Headlight Conversion Kit # XIL-7RDKIT actually come with the anti-flicker harness built into the lights, so there are no additional parts needed to install and no need to worry about your new LED lights flickering. These lights will be a direct replacement of your old incandescent 7" round lights and provide you with superior lighting on the road with low beam, high beam, and running light functions built in.
