What Would Cause Trailer to Sway Around 60 MPH that Has Weight Distribution

Question:

I have a 2016 F150 3.5 EcoBoost and am pulling a 30 foot grand design around 5500 to 6000 pounds. I have a reese weight distribution hitch with the dual cam sway control. I am still getting some sway at 60 to 65 mph and when i hit bumps i get a lot of bounce which i think could cause sway. I am wonder if air bags would be a good solution for this?

Sway that starts at around 60 mph is related to how the trailer is loaded in most cases an in other cases it's bad suspension components or a trailer not sitting level. I would not recommend air bags for your truck as a solution as that won't make the change you are needing. Instead try moving as much weight forward in the trailer as you can and make sure the trailer isn't sitting nose high. Make sure it's totally level. If that doesn't solve the issue check over the suspension components and look for anything worn out or broken and fix as needed.
