if you cut off the cigaret lighter to hardwire it how do you get the different flash patterns

That's not something I'd really recommend honestly. You'd have to take apart the end of the power port so that you could get the wiring after the switch of the Blazer Mini Amber Warning Light Bar # C4855AW if you were intent on doing this.
