Swagman Platform Bike Rack Recommendation for Carrying E-Bikes

Question:

I am buying a TREK electric bike. It will weight 45 pounds if I remove the 8 pound battery. Will this bike rack be safe??? Also I have a 25 pound composite bike...could both be on at the same time?? I have a 2019 Toyota Highlander that I had them modify to be able to put a hitch on. Thank you in advance!

The Swagman XTC-2 TILT # S64671 has a weight capacity of 35 lbs per bike so while it would not have the weight capacity for your 45 lb bikes I do have the similar Swagman E-Spec part # S94FR which has a 60 lb per bike capacity while very similar in design that will work great for you. This rack was actually designed for carrying e-bikes like you have and was reinforced for their extra weight.
