Compatibility of Reese Elite Underbed Rail Adapter RP30156 With Demco Hijacker 5th Wheel Hitch

Question:

Hi has an existing 5th wheel rail mount hitch Hijaker 16000 lb slider. I wanted to check to make sure the Reese RP30156 will match up to the mounting on this hitch. The outside distance between the two mounts is 31.5. This is for my 2017 F350 Superduty with the standard OEM towing prep package.

The Reese Elite # RP30156 rail adapter is meant to provide industry standard rails. Go ahead and re-measure that 31-1/2 inch distance you mentioned, only this time measure center of tab to center of tab. You should find that the dimension is 29 inches which would indeed be compatible the # RP30156 adapter.

I've provided a photo showing the dimensions of an Industry Standard fifth wheel rail.
