Is There a Speed Limit on the CIPA Universal Towing Mirrors
Question:
Is there a maximum speed for use of these mirrors ? Max for my towing is normally 60mph will they stay attached if installed correctly

Helpful Expert Reply:
No. The CIPA Universal Towing Mirrors # CM11980-2 do not have any type of restrictions in regards to speed and I think you'll find that they're quite stable when mounted correctly on your mirrors; these mirrors will hold up to highway speeds without any issues. I've linked one of our installation videos on a newer model Expedition for you to have a look at as well, so that you can see exactly how they attach to your truck.
