For your 2018 Ford F-53 Chassis I really like the Tekonsha Prodigy P3 Trailer Brake Controller Part # 90195 and part # 3035-P that you looked at. This controller is really easy to use, gives you great feedback if you have any issues and is very easily customized for different towing applications. The 3035-p is a plug that allows you to install it without having to cut into any of the wiring under your dash there so I wouldn't install one without it.
My second choice would be the Tekonsha Prodigy P2 Trailer Brake Controller Part # 90885 and part # 3035-P it is also really easy to use but gives you less in the areas of customization and feedback should issues arise.
I've included links to the pages for you and also the videos I've done on each of them to give you exact details on them. Happy Hauling!
