Can the Curt Echo be Used When Another Brake Controller is Plugged In

Question:

I have a Dodge 2500 pick up with a brake controller that does not seem to work. A friend offered his Echo for trouble shooting. Before I ruin his Echo, should I disconnect the existing controller in my truck? If so, what is the easiest way to do that?

Great question! Your are free to use the Curt Echo Wireless Trailer Brake Controller without disconnecting your on board brake controller. It works with any on board controller without interference. The Echo requires the 12-volt pin on the vehicle's 7-Way is active. It will connect to smart phone as your friend has probably already told you.
