For the 2011 Ram 3500 I recommend to use the Underbed Rails and Installation Kit for Reese Elite Series 5th Wheel and Gooseneck Trailer Hitches part # RP30852 which will give you a custom under bed rail kit just like the OEM puck system. The spacing is the same as the Ford OEM Puck system so you will use a hitch that technically fits the Ford OEM puck system but only because you are using the Reese Elite underbed system.

I recommend to use the B&W Companion OEM 5th-Wheel Hitch for Ford Super Duty Prep Package part # BWRVK3300. The Companion offers a 1" thick jaw that makes full contact with the king pin to eliminate some of the chucking and rattling you may experience with the other brands.
