Question:
I have my factory Transmission Cooler on the mounting bracket. Do I need to take that one off and replace it with the Derale cooler?

You can leave the factory transmission cooler that is in your 2005 Chevy Tahoe installed and then run the out line from that cooler to the Derale Transmission Cooler # D13504 that you referenced and then run the return line from this cooler back to your transmission. Most people who install transmission coolers on vehicles with factory coolers install them just like this.
To mount this cooler you will just need to pick a location that is in front of the radiator. You may want to measure the available space you have and see if the # D13504 would fit. The measurements for this cooler are on the product page.
Check out the FAQ article I attached on transmission coolers that I attached for you to check out.
You may also be interested in purchasing a Derale Snap-In Adapter # D13035 so you would not need to cut or flair any lines.
