Availability of Wiring Kit For Separate Brake/Turn Signals on 2003 Chevy Tracker Towed By Motorhome

Question:

Hello I am towing a 2003 chevy tracker behind my 1992 Airstream B-190 Van motor home. When I turn the directional signals on the motor home the amber light comes on.That is for both turn signals. When I step on the brake in my motor home the tail light comes on at a seperate bulb. There is a converter on my motor home as well as a converter on my tracker.I would like to wire my tracker in a way that would allow the amber light to come on for directional signals and tail light to come on in a seperate bulb.Is this feasable? If you could direct me to the right diode kit and directions for the wiring I would appreciate that.Thank you tinman176

You will need to use the Roadmaster 6-Diode Universal Wiring Kit, part # 154-792-118158, on your 2003 Chevrolet Tracker that is being flat towed by your Airstream motor home. This kit will give you everything you will need to convert the combined brake and turn signals on your motor home to separate brake and turn signals that is on your Tracker. I am including a link to the installation instructions on the wiring kit.

I also sell the diodes separately in quantities from 1 to 4. I am including a link to a product page that will list all of the diodes.

I am including a link to a FAQ page that will explain in detail how to wire your vehicle that is being towed for separate brake and turn signals.

The RoadMaster Tail Light Wiring Kit with Bulbs, part # RM-155, that you have referenced will not work on your 2003 Chevrolet Tracker. There is not enough room inside the tail light housing to install the extra bulbs and sockets.
