Roller Bunk Recommendation for a 17 Foot Ranger Jet Boat and King Salt Water Boat Trailer

Question:

I need to be able to push my boat off of the trailer in some cases. The shallow water available will not allow me to lower my boat enough for it to float off. I have a 17foot ranger jet boat alluminum with a 90 hp honda motor. My trailer is a King salt water single axle trailer. Its main supports are just over 6foot apart and currently are 2X6 felt covered lying flat. These boards are approximately 8foot long. How could I utilize rollers to allow me to push my boat off in these rare instances. My current weight will not allow me to manually push my boat back enough for the boat to tilt into the water. Big fish but need to get to them!

The easiest solution, if possible, is to back the trailer further into the water. If that is not an option, rollers could help you and definitely make it easier to launch the boat and pull it back on the trailer. For rollers, given that your bunks are flat and about 8 feet long, I would go with 2 sets of # DL21740. Each piece is 4 feet long and they can be mounted directly to the bunks. Each set of rollers has a 2,500 pound capacity.
