Rooftop Cargo Box for 4Runner with Best Clearance to Allow Rear Hatch to Open

In the video it looked like the box was installed on a 4runner, and the hatch didnt open fully. Is there any size of Yakima skybox that allows the 4runner hatch to open completely. If not, which comparable box will?

In the install video that is on the product page for the Yakima SkyBox NX 16 part # Y95AV that you referenced you are actually seeing the larger Skybox 21 part # Y07337 which is why it didn't allow the rear hatch to open. To determine if the 16 would allow your rear hatch to open measure from the front crossbar center all the way back to the rear hatch seam on the roof of the vehicle. If that distance is greater than 47 inches the 16 will fit. For comparison the dimension needed for the 21 is 57 inches.
