What Spindle Does Dexter 10K Hub Assembly # 8-214-5 Fit

Question:

Do these 10k lb hubs fit a specific # spindle? Like the 7k lb hubs fit #42 etc.

The Dexter Trailer Idler Hub Assembly # 8-214-5 that you referenced does fit a particular spindle but it's not something we have available (the highest capacity spindles we have are 6K units) and there's not really a standard model name for it like the # 42 spindle you mentioned that's typically found on 5,200 pound axles.

The Dexter Hub Assembly # 8-215-5 uses a # 395S inner bearing, a # 387A outer bearing, and the # 10-56 oil seal that has a 3.125" inner diameter and a 4.500" outer diameter. You will just need to make sure the spindles on your trailer (or the spindles you're looking to add) accept these bearings.

I have attached a short video review on this hub assembly that you can check out as well.
