Will the Thule UpRide Fit the Factory Crossbars on a 2007 BMW X3

Question:

I have seen descriptions and reviews that say yes, it will fit factory cross bars, and that it will only fit with an adapter. Can you tell me if it will fit? Will it require an adapter, and which one?

The Thule UpRide Roof Bike Rack, # TH599000, will mount directly to the factory crossbars on your 2007 BMW X3. It will not require an adapter of any sort and it fits a wide range of crossbar spreads (24" - 43") making it a very versatile rack for any vehicle.

A few other specs that you should be aware of are that it has a maximum bike weight capacity of 44 lbs, a maximum tire width capacity of 3 inches and a wheelbase capacity of 48". It accommodates wheel diameters from 20" to 29". If your bike doesn't fall within these numbers, please let me know what doesn't fit and I'll be happy to recommend a more suitable option.
