Will the Air Lift 1000 Air Helper Springs # AL60818 Fit a 2009 Dodge Ram 1500 Crew Cab
Question:
I have a 2009 Dodge Ram 1500 crew cab new body style. This item says except quad cab, does that mean it will work for my crew cab? Also, will it adversely affect the ride when there is no load and it is set to the minimum of 5 PSI? Thanks.

Yes, the Air Lift 1000 Air Helper Springs, # AL60818, will work on your 2009 Dodge Ram 1500 Crew Cab new body style. These air helper springs do have a load-leveling capacity up to 1,000 lbs, but keep in mind that they will not increase your vehicles weight carrying capacity. I have attached the installation instructions for you to check out.
Typically if you keep air bags inflated when you do not have a load in the truck they will create a rough ride when you drive over bumps. If you keep the PSI at the minimum, then you should not have too much trouble with ride quality when you are not hauling a load, but you may notice a slightly stiffer ride than without the air bags.
