What works best for trimming the garnish for my camper?

A rotary tool would work best for trimming the garnish on your RV roof vent, like the Dometic FanTastic Vent Roof Vent # FV807350. If you don't have a rotary tool then you could likely use something like tin snips (heavy duty scissors) instead. It would be beneficial to smooth off anything you cut with something like sand paper or a smaller file just so that if you ever need to remove the garnish for repairs that's one less thing you have to think about.
