How Much Clearance Do I Need Between the Fender and Top of the Tire
Question:
Would you recommend putting this 36 inch long fender over a 32 inch tire? That would give me two inches clearance in front and behind tire. If not how much clearance would you recommend?

The Single Axle Trailer Fender # HP66VR is 36" long, and while it would be able to accommodate a 32" diameter tire, you generally want to leave about 4-1/2" or more when it comes to clearance between the tires and fenders. The reason for this is to allow for sufficient suspension travel and still avoid contact with the fender/tires. These are going to be the largest fender we have available that is going to come close to fitting a tire of that size and I've seen them used with larger tires. With that being said it's going to be a tight fit and you'll likely have some rubbing when going over bumps or the suspension is engaged fully.
