The Curt Trailer Hitch # C13331 that fits on the 2018-2020 Audi Q5 will sit approximately 15" from the ground to the top of the receiver- so it will be around 13" from the bottom of the receiver. This will also depend on whether or not the vehicle is carrying passengers and cargo, the tire size or has a trailer connected to it- since there will be some squat in those circumstances.

If you need a wiring harness to power trailer lights I recommend using the Tekonsha Zero Contact Interface (ZCI) # 119250KIT since it does not require any splicing into wires and is the most non-invasive installation available. The sensors on this kit simply clamp onto the existing wiring in the vehicle and detect the current on the wires to send signals to the 4 way connector. If you also need a ball mount and hitch ball, I recommend using the etrailer Ball Mount Kit # 989900 since it allows you to cover a variety of towing setups that you may come across. This kit comes with 2 ball mounts, 2 hitch balls, hitch pins, clips and a carrying bag to keep everything stowed in your vehicle and not worry about losing anything.
