Can Installation Kits for One Truck be Used with Westin Tube Step Nerf Bars for a Different Truck

Question:

I have an 02 Avalanche and would like to put the the Westin 4foot Step Tubes Black on it. Code #22-5035 is the 85inch long and that is the length I want to use, not the 22-5045 which is 91. I only want to go door to door, not wheel to wheel. Can the 5035 be installed on the 02 Avalanche using the correct Westin brackets? If so, what is the code number of the brackets to use?

First, the bars and installation kits are not available separately. They are paired together so that adding different brackets to a different bar may not always work the way it needs to.

The correct 4-1/4 inch tubes for your 2002 Chevy Avalanche if it has Clad Molding is # 22-5045-1535. These are cab length bars. There is no wheel to wheel option for the 2002 Chevy Avalanche. I have included a link to the installation instructions for you.

There are other cab length options for a 1500 with clad molding such as # 23-3025.
