Trailer Hitch Mount Bike Rack Recommendation for a Tiffin Allegro RED Motor Home
Question:
I am looking for a carrier behind a Tiffin Allegro RED. The 2inch hitch receiver is flush with the back of the motorhome. This carriers wheel hoop is only 4inch from the hitch pin. Is that far enough so that the handlebars wont rub on the back of the motorhome? Or do we need to extend the hitch receiver to make this carrier work? I also saw the Swagman XTC-2 on your site, and it appears that extends out much further from the hitch receiver. Thanks for any info you can provide.

We have numerous racks that are rated for use behind an RV or trailer that would work for you. A rack with 4 inches of clearance probably will not work. The regular XC, # S64650, measures 10-1/2 inches from the center of the hitch pin hole out to the first wheel hoop.
The XTC-2 that you referenced, # S64670, would also be a better choice. It measures 8 inches from hitch pin hole to wheel hoop. I have included links to videos on both racks for you to view.
