Can LED Docking Lights # DLL50CC be Installed on a 2007 Chevy Express Cargo Van

Any reason that I could not mount these on the rear valance above the rear doors of my Chevy Express van to be used as floods and reverse lights?

If you do not mind drilling into the vehicle you can install the LED docking lights, # DLL50CC, any where that you want. They can be wired as flood lights and turned on when you wanted, including when backing up. The only problem is you would have to remember to turn them off when you were done backing up. They do not meet DOT requirements for backup lights so the van would also need its OEM reverse lights.
You can wire these lights directly to the battery and turn them off an on using the included switch so that when you want them on going in reverse, just flip the switch. You may need additional wire though depending on where you end up mounting them.
