Recommended Brake Controller for 2007 Land Rover Range Rover
Question:
I am trying to figure what break controller options I have for the 2007 Range Rover Full Size Supercharged? I have a factory installed trailer harness with the 7 point trailer plug. However, I can not finder an unused grey plug under the dashboard to the left of the steering wheel and near the break pedal, that would allow a unit like a Prodigy P3 to be plugged-in. Am I looking in the wrong place for that plug? Or, what other brake controller should I considder? Any advice would be very welcome. Thanks

The best brake controller for your 2007 Land Rover Range Rover is the Curt Echo Mobile # C51180 since it doesn't require that you find the factory wiring in your vehicle; it will simply plug into the 7 way connector on the back of your vehicle and is controlled via your Android 4.4 (or higher) or iOS 8.0 (or higher) smart phone. This is a proportional brake controller that can be used on trailers with up to 2 axles and is the easiest to install brake controller we have to offer. I especially like it because it can be used on a variety of different vehicles in the event that you need to tow your trailer with a different vehicle and there is no need for any type of wiring outside of what's already installed on your Range Rover.
I've linked a brief informational video on the Echo that shows how it installs and operates that you might want to check out.
