How to Determine Correct Replacement Electric Brakes for 1973 Airstream Trailer

Hi, which brake assembly fits a 1973 Airstream trailer with six lug axles? Do you have other parts that fit an Airstream?

So we can tell you how to determine the correct replacement electric brakes for your 1973 Airstream trailer, but it is not possible to know what parts you currently have, or to know what parts might work. Not only are there, from my research, 16 different models of '73 Airstream, there also just isn't a giant database or list of parts for any year, make or model of trailer like you might find with a car, for example.
Finding brakes that fit is very easy though, and just requires some measurements. Since we know you have tandem axles, hubs with six lugs, and because the weights of the 16 different models of a '73 don't go past 5,500 lbs, I am guessing you have 10 inch diameter hubs. You will want to measure the diameter of your hubs as well as the depth to ensure you get the right brakes. You also need to ensure you have the right brake mounting flange. For example the Electric Trailer Brake Kit - Self-Adjusting - 10" - Left and Right Hand Assemblies - 3,500 lbs # AKEBRK-35-SA which are 10" x 2-1/4" and require a hub of the same size as well as a 4-bolt mounting flange.

Hi, Its a 1973 Airstream Sovereign with 6 lug axles. Couple more questions, do you sell a complete hub to hub axle replacement (or one similar enough to fit)?
