Replacement Lock for EnCore Cover on 2017 Ford F-150 with 6-1/2 Bed
Question:
I have purchased a previously owned 2017 Ford 150 SuperCrew with a 145inch wheelbase. the truck has an existing Encore Tonno hard cover. The lock needs to be replaced to match the new truck key. Based on your web site, it looks like product EX28620192-28 is the correct replacement part. Is there a product code or Encore model number I should look for to confirm this is the correct lock replacement?

The Replacement OEM BOLT Lock # EX28620192-28 is what you'd use for your Extang EnCore Hard Tonneau Cover # EX62480 on your 2017 Ford F-150 with the 6-1/2' bed.
This replacement lock is for the EnCore EX62480 as long as it was made after 2015. Since the truck is a 2017 I would imagine that this cover was put on brand new so you should be good to go. If you want to double check though there should be a manufactured date on a tag somewhere on the underside of the cover itself.
