Does Curt Base Rail Kit for 2014 Ram 3500 Come with 4 Brackets

Question:

I currently have a 2014 ram 3500 drw purchased used with a bandw turn over ball. I am looking into purchasing the fifthwheel rails #C16426-204 along with the curt A20. I was looking at my truck because it has the holes drilled in the bed where the rails were previously installed and noticed that the support kit that attaches to the frame was left in place. However I can not find the front driver side bracket closted to the fuel tank on the truck I dont know if it was removed, not installed or if its not that is part of the kit. Can you confirm that #C16426-204 has 4 brackets? I dont want to purchase the full kit if its not needed.

Curt Custom Fifth Wheel Installation Kit # C16426-204 for your 2014 Ram 3500 comes with 2 front brackets, 2 rear brackets, as well as a rear spacer plate for the driver's side. I have attached a link to the instructions as well as a clip from the instructions showing the parts list.

You can either install this base rail kit to use the Curt A20 # C16140 or we do have the Demco Adapter # DM6140 which installs in the B&W gooseneck hitch and basically gives you industry standard base rails. This solution isn't as cost effective, but it does keep you from having to remove the old hitch, sell it, and then install the Curt base rails. Plus this means you can still keep the gooseneck hitch and a clear bed when you aren't towing.
