Replacing 25-1/2 Long Leaf Springs on 2009 Crossroads Sunset Trail

Question:

my trailer is a 2009 crossroads sunset trail. my tires rube on the fender well sometimes and the trailer rides very low. I measured the leaf spring with the weight of the vehicle on it and it was 26, I jacked the tire off the ground and it measured 25 and 1/2inch would these 25 and 1/8inch work? the vehicle weighs 5500# dry.

Worn out leaf springs can definitely cause a trailer to sag like you described in your question, which leads to a variety of issues such as reduced wheel well clearance for the tires. If you measured a length of 25-1/2" from eye to eye (on center) with weight taken off the trailer, the 4-Leaf Double-Eye Spring # e54SR will work great as a replacement.

Older leaf springs will have stretched out over time, so the shorter 25-1/8" length on these new springs should be the correct fit on your trailer even though your existing springs measure a bit longer. This leaf spring stack is designed for 3,500 pound axles and has a width of 1-3/4".
