How Often Does etrailer Generator part # 333-0003 Need to be Started if Stored

Does the etrailer 3200 watt inverter generator require starting generator every 3 months to avoid losing power output due to loss of remanent magnetism like a standard non-inverter generator?

It is recommended that you start the etrailer generator part # 333-0003 once a month to prevent hard starting but it's not due to any power loss like you mentioned on non-inverter style generators.

Standard generators may not generate 120 volt power if NOT started on a monthly basis due to gradual loss, over time, of residual magnetism - will inverter lose residual magnetism & voltage generating ability, even though engine has been started? If not, why?

Everything will lose some ability to generate the full capacity over time. Wiring and connections will eventually break down and corrode as well as lose magnetism as you stated. I don't know how much you will experience or when because there are so many unknown factors. What I can tell you is we haven't had people let us know of any obvious issues. You can use the 7-Function Digital Multimeter # BTMT15 to track any changes.
