Which Adapter Should be Used to Install Brake Controller and Run Charge Line of 2009 Jeep Wrangler
Question:
This will be installed on my 2009 Jeep Wrangler unlimited. I just got a tow behind camper and need to have a 7pin round connector. Will this allow for trailer brakes with a controller? Also will this allow for charging the camper batteries while plugged in with the vehicle running? Thanks

The part # ETBC7 will provide you with the trailer wiring solutions you are wanting for your 2009 Jeep Wrangler Unlimited. It does offer you a way to wire in a brake controller as well as run a charge line for the trailer battery.
You will need a brake controller too like the Brake EVN # TK63VR which is a really solid option. It's a proportional controller that senses how hard you are applying the vehicle brakes and applies a relative amount of brake pressure to the trailer brakes. Running the black wire of the kit to the vehicle battery would then activate the charge circuit.
