Replacement Drum Brake Surge Coupler for 2-Inch Surge Coupler with Electric Lockout  

Question:

Im looking to replace my model 5 Surg-O-Matic Dico part #3241639 surge hitch. Its 2 ball and drum brakes, would be nice to have reverse lock out if possible, what are my options? The trailer is a 1978 Tandem total weight 5K I can post a photo if needed tomorrow Thanks,

To replace your Dico surge actuator the Demco Hydraulic Trailer Brake Actuator # DM72VR would be a really great choice. It has a 6k capacity, fits a 2 inch ball, and with the reverse lock out solenoid kit part # DM5836 with it you'd be totally set.
