Can the Tow Hooks On a 2014 Jeep Grand Cherokee Be Removed To Install the Curt Front Hitch

Can I remove front tow hooks on my 2014 Jeep Grand Cherokee so I can install a curt front hitch .. thanks Doug

The 2014 Jeep Grand Cherokee could have been equipped with either bolted-on or welded-on tow hooks. If you have bolted-on tow hooks then you can removed them and the Curt Front Mount Trailer Hitch Receiver part # C31033 will fit. There were some early models with the welded-on tow hooks which the brackets could not be removed therefore a front mount hitch could not be installed.
