The Stromberg Carlson RV Exterior Ladder part # LA-401 is my recommendation for a 2018 Jayco Melbourne 24L so you were right on track. The Stromberg Carlson Ladder is an excellent option because it has the overall height you need, is made of rust-proof aluminium so it should always look like new, and is pretty easy to install with only minimal modifications required (drilling for standoffs). The Stromberg Carlson Ladder is by far the most popular option to either add or replace an existing ladder so I am sure you will be very happy with this option as have many others which you can see in the review tab on the product page.
