Utility Trailer Spare Tire Mount For 2x2 Solid Angle Iron Trailer
Question:
I want to mount the spare on trailer frame, not on tongue. My trailer is 2x2 angle iron which I plan to have welder fill into make a solid 2x2. Which mounts would you suggest that will work on 2x2.

The spare tire carrier # FSTC1000301 will work great on a 2 x 2 inch frame. There may be some modification required or some spacer pieces for the best fit though. The tire mount is compatible with wheels that have 4 on 4 or 5 on 4-1/2 inch bolt patterns on 10 inch or larger diameter wheels.
