Correct Brake Controller Wiring Harness and Factory Connector Location on a 2008 Dodge Ram
Question:
The harness does not fit the end of the wire under the dash. It is a 2008 doge ram. The harness has a long 4 contact and the end on the truck has a square plug in 6 hole with 5 contacts in the plug-in. no one seems to have the answer. I would appreciate your help.

First, if you are using # HM47795, it is not the correct harness. The correct one for a Hopkins controller and a 2008 Dodge Ram is # HM47755. I have included a link to a video that shows a brake controller installation on a 2009 Ram so you can see the location of the factory plug and where it is located. The harness is located underneath the dash, to the left of the steering column, taped to another harness near the emergency brake pedal.
There are 2 plugs in this location. You need the one that is blue like in the video.
