Question:

do you have a 5200 lb axle to fit this hub? I have spoke to 1 person that says it will work, and 2 people that say it wont?? I just read online, one of your forums, while researching this that it will work.

Dexter hubs # 8-219-4UC3-EZ can fit a 5,200 pound axle, but not as they come.

The 5,200 pound axles, like part # 8327816 as an example, use # 25580 and # LM67048 for the inner and outer bearings respectively. The hub uses # 14125A for the outer bearing which has the same inner diameter (1.25 inches) as # LM67048 so that's not an issue. The problem is the grease seal. The hub includes # GS-2125DL for the seal which measures 2.125 inches inner and 3.376 inches outer. The axles need a seal that measures 2.25 inches inner. So with that being said you can fit the hubs onto the 5,200 pound axle if you replace the seal with part # RG06-070 that has the same 3.376 outer diameter but has a 2.25 inch inner diameter to fit the spindles on the axle.
